Who we are
LUMA TEXTILE is a textile company based in Dhaka, serving export oriented garment manufacturers and the buying houses that place work with them. We dye and finish knit fabric to the approved shade and specification, and deliver it ready for cutting.
Dyeing is the core of the business and the reason most customers come to us. Sampling, knitting and finishing are offered alongside it, so a fabric program can be run as one job instead of coordinated across four suppliers, each blaming the last one when a date slips.
Bangladesh has no shortage of companies that will dye fabric. What an export factory is short of is one that turns a lab dip around quickly, keeps the lot in one batch, holds the shade to the last roll, and says something the moment a date is at risk. That is the work we compete on, and it is the work most suppliers here treat as somebody else's problem.

How We Work
Four things we hold to
These are not values on a wall. Each one exists because ignoring it has cost somebody in this trade a shipment.
The approved lab dip is the standard
What the buyer signed off is what gets delivered, on the first order and on the reorder six months later. Everything else said about a shade is opinion, and opinion is not what an inspector checks against.
A date given is a date meant
We quote what we can hold rather than what wins the order. The supplier who agrees to every date is the one who breaks your production plan, and everybody in this trade has worked with him.
Bad news early
An order running late is a problem. An order running late that you learn about on the delivery date is a much bigger one. We call while your merchandiser still has room to move the plan.
One person who knows
You get somebody who can tell you where your order actually stands without putting you through three people first. In a trade that runs on phone calls, that is worth more than any portal.

Factories and buying houses working to a buyer date
Garment manufacturers
Export oriented knit factories working back from a shipment date. They need the shade approved quickly, held across the order, and the fabric on the cutting floor in time. A fabric program that slips is a shipment that slips.
Buying houses
Buying houses placing work on behalf of an overseas buyer, often holding the approved shade standard themselves. We work to that standard directly, and the approval is what the delivered fabric is checked against.
